With the heart of a pastor and the mind of an entrepreneur, Darrell Six treats clients like family; crafting a specific strategy for each client to meet the individual buying and selling needs. “My dad taught me there are only two options when it comes to dealing with people,” says Darrell, “you can either use them or serve them. If we truly believe that God is our source, then we are free to serve others.”
A Texas native, Darrell received his BA from Baylor University and his MA from Fuller Theological Seminary. “There’s something profoundly spiritual about real estate. Where we choose to live, raise our families and build community shapes our lives and future generations in far-reaching ways. It’s an honor to walk with people through the process of making a decision that’s going to be an enormous part of their lives.” Darrell’s desire to help his clients navigate the stresses and joys of buying and selling properties around the world is birthed out of his own experience. Over the past twenty years Darrell and his wife have moved eleven times.
“A real estate deal should work on an emotional level, but also a financial one.” Helping clients enjoy the process and also maximize their investment is core in Darrell’s client-oriented mindset. Using the newest technology, exceptional marketing skills and the reach of the Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty brand, he delivers results to his clientele.
Darrell, who speaks fluent Mandarin, ran his own business for eight years in Xiamen, China creating content to teach children English before moving to the Dallas area. Settling in Southlake, Darrell’s family discovered the many joys of living in North Texas. In addition to his local community involvement, Darrell also directs a project under the New Horizons Foundation that seeks to bring transformation to urban slums in the majority world. Of all his experiences, his most cherished is that of being a husband and father. He has three sons and a daughter whom he has the privilege of raising with his beautiful wife, Gina.
